ABOUT PROJECT MONITORING SYSTEM IN CPWD
1. Established in July, 1854, CPWD has now grown to become a comprehensive
construction and maintenance department of the Government of India, providing services
from concept to completion of projects and maintenance of built assets for various
ministries and departments of the central government.
2. The project monitoring system is a web-based application for monitoring
progress of all projects undertaken by CPWD, both in pre-construction and construction
phases. The progress report indicates the particulars, status or physical progress,
targets, monthly and up-to-date expenditure at the following stages of the project.
i. Requisition received, preliminary estimate to be sent
ii. Preliminary estimate sent, AA and ES awaited
iii. Sanctioned, to be awarded
iv. In progress
v. Completed
3. The clients can monitor projects after simple registration process to get
username and password. There are 3 categories of clients
i. Ministries : To monitor all the works under a Ministry
ii. Organization : To monitor all the works of an organization under a Ministry
